Our Yoga Retreat Details

Nataraja Yoga Center offers two trainings in our weekend retreats:

  1. Basic Residential Yoga Training in affiliation with Svyasa Yoga University, Bangalore. This training is open to all - beginners or advanced, regardless of age. Your financial contribution is voluntary. Upon completion of each retreat, 30 hours is credited toward 100+ hours for YIC - YOGA Instructor’s Certification.

  2. Yoga Teacher’s Training (YIC) - Certificate (from Svyasa Yoga University, Bangalore) is awarded upon successful completion

Basic Residential Yoga Training - 25 Hours Promotion of Positive Health - Includes:

  1. 26 Asanas: Postures to relax body

  2. Structured Pranayama: To energize the Energy body and slow down the breathing for Healthier Life.

  3. OM Meditation for Peaceful Mind & Cyclic Meditation for Stress Management

  4. Kriyas (Cleansing Procedures) such as:

    • Neti for Nasal Allergy & Respiratory Problems

    • Trataka (Eyes) to improve eye sight & Concentration

    • Vaman Dhauti for Digestive Disorders namely Acidity

    • Shankha Prakhshalan (Basti) to cleanse our whole GI tract

  5. Related Yoga Theories & Practices - Four Streams of YOGA (Raj Yoga of Will Power, Karm Yoga of Action, Bhakti Yoga of Devotion & Gyan Yoga of Knowledge) for Integration, Appreciation & Proper Understanding of YOGA system.

  6. Material includes Written Instructions, Book, Audio & Video

  7. Weight Management, Anger Management (if time permits)

  8. The best of Baba Ramdev’s Pran Yoga

About the Teachers:

Trainers Niru & Sudhir Parikh & Associates are made up of 34 teachers certified by www.svyasa.org with this program. We have experience in different yoga schools such as Baba Ramdev, Shivananda, Brahmananda, Vinyasa, SSY - Siddh Samadhi Yoga, AOL - Art of Living, Siddha Yoga, High Tech Yoga, Pranic Healing.
